Rule The Streets & Turf: Nike SCCRX Collection
In the summer of 2014, Nike forever changed the industry by introducing their revolutionary Flyknit material into the designs of the Magista Obra and Mercurial Superfly. This new technology transformed the fit and performance of soccer boots for firm and soft ground pitches, but was not translated into the the small-sided game until the debut of Nike's SCCRX collection in the winter of 2015.
Small-sided games are played on a variety of rough surfaces, and therefore require a boot design that focuses heavily on durability. To meet this need for small-sided players, Nike created an outsole specifically engineered for the roughest of surfaces including the streets, courts and turf pitches. All Nike SCCRX boots are remixes of the outdoor Nike silos (Mercurial, Magista, and Hypervenom), but built with thick rubber outsoles, and feature Nike Grind technology; a rubberized texture laid over high abrasion and drag areas of the boots.
East Coast Soccer Shop currently carries the MercurialX Proximo and HypervenomX Proximo in both the flat IC (Indoor Court) and TF (turf) outsoles.
