The Tiempo Legend has always maintained a classic look coupled with the highest quality of materials. Nike continues this tradition with their latest iteration, the Tiempo Legend VI, but with a modern, innovative twist. One of the most significant design overhauls is the change to the traditional quilted toe box of the Tiempo. To reduce the amount of stitching, Nike designers created an internal, cushioned cage that holds its shape and includes grooves that mimic the classic quilting. Without the stitching, less mud and water can seep into the upper, which can potentially harden the leather.

Another modernized feature of the sixth generation Legend is the tongue, which now integrates with the lacing system to provide a one-piece design similar to the Mercurial Vapor and Hypervenom Phantom II. The upper is constructed from a premium leather and featured in a Platinum Grey, Black and Red colorway. Additional colorways available are the classic Black, White and Metallic Gold, and the Total Crimson and Silver Legend from the Metal Flash Pack.
